I had seen a blog sometime ago... somewhere that showed various workspaces of artists and designers. *shrug* So I figured I would give it a shot... no pun intended. Hahah... be slightly glad; this is the most post I've done in a while and will be for another while.

Animal behaviourist Kevin Richardson has such an intimate bond with big cats that he can spend the night curled up with them without the slightest fear of attack.

Richardson, 32, who is based in a wildlife conservation area near Johannesburg in South Africa, works his unusual magic on other species too. Cheetahs, leopards and even unpredictable hyenas hold no threats for him.

So instinctively in tune is he with these beasts, whose teeth are sharp enough to bite through thick steel, that mother hyenas even allow him to hold their newborn cubs without pouncing to the rescue.

But lions are his favourite. He lavishes them with unconditional love, he says, treating each individual differently, speaking to them, caressing them and, above all, treating them with respect.

"I don't use sticks, whips or chains, just patience. It may be dangerous, but this is a passion for me, not a job."

Rar!!!

I just hate it when work sucks me dry of everything else that I need to do the things that I love... Now thats and excuse. A true excuse... but its more or less I'm just distracted. And thats ALWAYS true. Not joke or shit...

Still working on my "everest-of-a-story"... researching is so much fun. You learn things that just make everyone else go "What the fuck, Mel? Are you BSing again?"

Honest! Humming birds don't walk... And I just keep having giggling images of humming birds hopping on peg-legs struggling to perch. Cause in my world they don't have "real" legs.

Transformers is opening soon. I'm pretty excited. Its prolly the only movie re-make that I'm happy to see with the small changes that would bother me if it were another movie. (i.e. The detail on Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee isn't a Bug.) But hot damn... when they make that "sound" when the transform. Sexy!
