I'm on my second week of P90X and hopefully I can last, the first week was a lot harder than I thought, though painfully satisfying.

I'm currently hooked on Ice Truckers and Human Weapon. Such a geek. I can't wait for Shark Week to start. I really want to see their opening documentary.

Started studying for my praxis... finding out I really need to brush up on my art shit again. hahahah...

Fan girl moment.... again!

Okay I know I had said no more vids... but OMFG! I can't believe I forgot about this. I've know that Golden Compass was going to be coming out but I didn't realize that it was coming out this winter. One of the best damn trilogies out there... I remember waiting for that fated "The Amber Spyglass" to come out and it took forever! Looking at the trailer though Oxford looks a lot more modern than I had imagined and more clean... I always imagined it to be a bit darker and grungier. Oh well... Nicole Kidman was casted perfectly... dear god Mrs. Coutler. And Daniel Craig... Yum!


And SHIT! I didn't even know they were doing a Spiderwick movie! My mom told me after she had gone to see the HP movie. (which I refuse to see... tired of the HP-verse) I was suprised to see Nickelodeon's name on it. But it looks like they are beginning to turn out some great stuff (i.e. Spiderwick.... AND! Avatar the last Airbender) Spiderwick is another great book series... its in the kid section but who am I to over look great illustration and a fun story line! XD


Ahem... but since I mentioned it.

The word is that Avatar will begin its new season toward the end of September. To tease us fans the cover for the Book 3 : Fire DVD was released. I already have the box set of Season 2 pre-oredered and thats scheduled for September as well. So friggin excited!

So now all I need is more updates on Dragon Age and I am so good to go. Hahahaha...

That one time of the month...

That every woman hates... and this time it just floored me. I'm being a wuss and called in a second day of sick. Yesterday I cramped so bad I got nauseous; which has never happened before. By the evening I was well enough to eat a decent size meal. Then this morning I was completely stupid. I decided to workout (like I have planned...) I managed to get a half hour in, but with the lack of food from yesterday and the low iron level... STUPID! The last time I felt like this I was at an intensive Escrima training session and hadn't eaten anything for the 4 hours prior or had any water with me... Hopefully today I can build up the energy stores and get back into the game. Tomorrow morning I'm gonna keep it toned down and just do an hour long stretch. Hopefully I can kick things into high gear when the friggin bleeding and cramping stops.

But enough of that!...

God this is just cute!

25th Birthday

Thats not for another 7-8 months, but out of the blue my mother goes and mentions it today. Sure its going to be a landmark (I guess). I'm looking forward to it like any other day, but I suspect my mother is a little bit more excited than I am. Heh. In Numerology sense that day equals out to 10, meaning rebirth. Its been a long time coming.

If you haven't noticed the new addition to the blog. I found a nifty music site: Blogmusik

It has a wide variety of music, though I'm having trouble finding some of my favorite Asian artists. The search easy enough, and you can drag and drop songs into your play list. I honestly have to say that I spent a good hour tinkering here.

Other than that... tried out P90X - Stretch. Just a bit of 'toe-dipping' before I jump into the P90x challenge on Monday. Now most people that know me or know how I look physically will balk and point out that I really don't need to loose any more fat. To be honest, I may look thin but I want to add some muscle definition, get some strength going, and rebuild my stamina back up. I've run before, done pilates, escrima, and other athletic bits here and there. But I tend to putter out after a while when things get repetitive. I'm hoping that the changing cycle with P90X keeps my attention. Yeah I have an attention problem... Hehehe.

AND I saw Transformers again. YES it is that good~! And the audience was a lot better this time, more receptive and fun to be in.

The best of the 4th

I'm gonna have to say you just need to see Transformers, if I explained or discribe anything it just won't come off as good as it really is. I went in not expecting much and came out a total fan girl all over again. :D

But after the movie a bunch of my friends and I discussed other great ID4 relieases, and I managed to dig up a nice link that complies a list of them.

When in school the concept of the universe never really hits you, especially if you go to a private catholic school because honestly. Whats there to the universe... God, right? But then there are concepts like this that are just amazing to think about. Insignificant much... indeed!

Then there are things like this that creep the willies out of me... BLEH! *shudder* And I'll admit if there is ONE creature that just creeps the crap out of me... its the centipede... Small Kid kine trauma...

And for all my friends that insisted that I drink soy milk instead of regular milk... I'll stick to my 8oz of 2% every morning and an occasional bowl of miso.... Mmmm.... Miso good.

And its a sad day indeed, sad becuase I have to say good-bye to an old friend.

My Baby-G has been with me for nearly 8 years, a few countries, a couple tragic family moments, long distance everything... and many other moments of my life. It was sad to know that it was more than just the battery...

*sigh*

On a lighter note.... TRANSFORMERS!
