Work has been kinda heavy on my lately. Its amazing how one person can just put a wrench in all the goodness. But I'm trying to get over it and distract myself heavily. (I honestly hate it when all I find myself talking about is school and work related shit.)
But today... after I gave my students the prep for their Religion test. One of them startled me, in her quiet victory (she was being really silent about it), as she finally figured out a tricky question in the reading that was really giving her a hard time.
It was a score moment that just leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy.
Oh! And I had a bomb as time walking around as Max from Where the Wild Things Are, this past Halloween. It was only made sweeter when I was carrying my 2 year old cousin back on my shoulders and she totally fell asleep on me.
