First off Xander's reaction was priceless! Though I haven't been a fan of Buffy for a long time, good lord I can't even remember what season my interest sorta fell out. (I have commitment issues, ask Heros they understand.) But once a fan... well always a fan. I have to say from the New York Article Whedon definately achived what he was going for, at least IMO. He brought up a good point concerning lesbianism in media, it IS a double edge sword and well the masses will take things which ever way they want. If this makes Ellen I might just start laughing till I cry.

Buffy I think had the most ideal reaction, (no doubt all of us would like to have this reaction instead of the 'deer in headlights morning after awkwardness') What was it she said... "...Tomorrow I'm gonna think about what we did. And I'm going to blush. And I'm going to smile." Pathetically enough the fan girl in me just 'Squees' its rather sad; but that response is priceless. To me it alludes to that things are going to get awkward but will remain good if not stronger between the characters. Lord knows what Whedon will make of what is to come out of this, but hey as a fan its what I look forward to.
