I managed to find the only Hawaiian bar in Hiroshima and managed to make friends there. So if anyone is around Hiroshima you need to check this place out. I'm headed there again hopefully tomorrow night. Its a great place to chill after a long day...
Which by the way I was at Miyajima... I cheated and took the ropeway up and hiked down. My knees hate me. BUT!!!! I had a set of BOMB ass oysters! There was a small stand selling 3 oysters for 500 yen, while everyone else was selling 2 oysters for 400 yen. I went back a second time and the old man there gave me a free oyster... so I got 7 oysters for 1000 yen. They were so damn good!!! The deer were alright on the island and I didn't see any monkeys.
But before all of that I got really depressed walking around the A-Bomb museum. Its safe to say that I cried through most of it. The group of guys that I hung out with have split up and Lucy the french girl that I"ve been rooming with will be leaving as well. I'm here in Hiroshima for a couple more nights, and tomorrow I'm going to see if I can meet up with this sweet old lady that invited me out for lunch. She usually does homestays for foriegners and works as a nurse. I met here in the hostel when she stayed over for a convention.
Right now it seems that the hostel is full of middle age people or older and not young people.
Now its going by really fast as I look at the calendar... I only have three weeks left.
